Ozone Analyzers

Ozone is made on purpose and feared on escape: generators dose it into water and processes, and the same gas must be proven destroyed or contained before air or water leaves the plant. Ozone analyzers cover both ends — percent-level output at the generator, ppm residuals in exhaust and room air, and dissolved ozone in treated water.

The detailed instrument is the MIC500OZ UV analyzer for generator duty. Around it the family lists the MIC100OZ generator-monitoring analyzer, wall-mounted, desktop and rack-mounted concentration analyzers, a portable ozone detector, UV ozone detectors, and the dissolved-ozone line including the shop-listed OZ-150W online dissolved ozone analyzer for industrial water.

UV absorption: the reference method

Ozone absorbs ultraviolet light strongly and specifically, so UV photometry measures it directly without chemical cells to exhaust. Dual-path designs compare sample against a reference path for stability — the arrangement the MIC500OZ uses, with automatic zero management for unattended generator rooms.

Concentration decides the instrument class: g/Nm3 spans at the generator outlet, ppm spans for exhaust and ambient safety, mg/L thinking on the dissolved side. The ozone generator monitoring guide develops the control loop — analyzer, relay, generator interlock — in full.

Dissolved ozone

In water treatment the dose is only proven in the water: dissolved ozone monitors close the loop between generator output and process effect, and residual measurement after contact tanks verifies destruction before discharge. The OZ-150W sits on this page as the family's listed online dissolved instrument.
